News from filmmaker Emma Crouch
Over the last few months I have been busy creating a few films, one of which will screen this Saturday 18th June, at 5pm. Commissioned as part of the London Festival of Architecture by Delvendahl Martin Architects, and Bow Arts, the film is an exploration of creative workspaces in London, as part of the festivals community theme. It looks at nine professional creatives across a range of disciplines, the types of spaces they work in, how this influences their work, and the community they create both within and outside the space.
It was fascinating to meet so many talented individuals, and take a peak inside their creative life. Those interviewed include photographer and video artist Ori Gersht, textile designer Kit Miles, designer maker Charlie Tymms, lighting designer Fiona Gall, painter Nogah Engler, milliner Awon Golding, stage director Thaddeus Strassberger, textile designer maker Barley Massey and letterpress Elizabeth Ellis from Counter Press.
